Feature requests

I would like to redirect my newsletter subscribers to a custom thank you page after they sign up rather than using Zeffy's conventional thank you page. I have information to share with my subscribers after they register which I would like to share on the thank you page.

This is a much larger feature request, but I believe it could significantly increase Zeffy’s value to charities. Rather than serving only as a donation processor, Zeffy could also become a comprehensive donor management platform. Some features that would be especially valuable include: Family Profiles: Allow donors to link members of their household, such as a spouse and children. * If both spouses have donated, their accounts could be linked into a single household profile. * This would give charities a more complete understanding of the families they serve, particularly community-based organizations such as synagogues, churches, schools, and other local nonprofits. Birthdays with Multiple Calendar Support (this is more specific to our charity, but I imagine know that many other religious charities would appreciate this too): Allow charities to store birthdays using different calendar systems, not just the Gregorian calendar. For example, organizations could choose to record birthdays using the Hebrew calendar, lunar calendars, or other calendar systems relevant to their community. This would enable charities to: * Automatically send reminder emails before a donor’s birthday or a family member’s birthday. * Encourage donations or sponsorships in honor of that special day. * Promote meaningful giving opportunities, such as making an annual charitable commitment. Supporting multiple calendar systems would make this feature useful across many different faiths, cultures, and organizations. Business Profiles: Allow donors to link one or more businesses to their personal profile. Many donors give both personally and through their business. Linking these together would provide charities with a more complete picture of donor relationships while making it easier to track giving across both individuals and organizations. Whether the connection is made by the donor through their portal or by the charity with the donor’s permission, this would greatly improve donor management. Titles: Allow donor profiles to include a preferred title, such as: * Mr. * Mrs. * Ms. * Dr. * Rabbi * Other custom titles This helps charities personalize communications and address donors appropriately. Benefit: By expanding donor profiles beyond basic contact information, Zeffy could become a true donor relationship platform rather than simply a payment processor. Richer donor profiles would enable more personalized communication, stronger donor engagement, improved fundraising opportunities, and better long-term relationship management for charities of all sizes. I am certain there are other great features that I have not thought of, that can also make Zeffy into a sort of complete backend for charities and help us by not needing to use other systems in addition to Zeffy.

Current Contact filters (for automatic list generation) operators are "Is" or "Is Not" which does not allow filtering on questions or data that may have multiple responses. For example, we'd like to maintain automatic lists for contacts with specific preferences such as "Puppy Fosters" "Large Dog Fosters" and have preferences (multi-select) for age, size, etc. With the current operators, contacts with multiple preferences will be excluded from lists without a 'contains' or 'includes' operator.

There are many donors who have a legal first name that they do not commonly use. The informal name would be used on emails, and the legal name on tax receipts.

In an Ontario non-profit corporation, members are legal stakeholders with voting rights and governance power similar to shareholders, while supporters are general donors, fans, or participants who have no formal legal or voting rights unless explicitly granted membership. Under the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA), these two roles carry very different legal definitions, responsibilities, and privileges. https://www.ontario.ca/page/guide-not-profit-corporations-act-2010#section-6 Our NPO cannot use the Membership features at all because of this, we have to legally call them something else (We use Supporters) but we heavily rely on our Supporters for a monthly subscription and we would benefit greatly from being able to use the membership features on Zeffy!

I would like to be able to add details to the questions, for example how we use the information provided, without having to put it in the question title. You can take inspiration from what Google Form offers in “Description”.

I would like to customize who from my organization is notified of new newsletter subscribers.

Have access for account admins to see which users added items, changed prices, cancelled bids, closed auctions, etc.

Have first and last name as separate fields in export. I have to spend so much time separating then fixing them.

When sending bulk emails to contacts in Zeffy, I'd like to customize the sender name.
