We would love to have a "preview" option to promote the silent auction and bring interest before the event. Having a start date/time would be helpful

Here is the workaround until there is the feature to select a start date. Once you create your auction and it is automatically active, you can click on the three dots next to the campaign and select "close sales". Then you can share the link or the QR code and advertise and people can view but bidding will be disabled. When you want to open the auction and allow bidding you just click on the same three dots and select "open sales". Bidding will be enabled. Its manual, but a solution that allows you to share prior to your desired start date.

I vote for the auction start date feature!

Would love for there to be start date. We want to send the link out to tease bidders, but we cant because then they would start bidding immediately. So we have to advertise twice - once to let everyone know about the event and then AGAIN to share the link and hope all those people who saw it initially see it again. Makes it very difficult to get and keep a large target audience

I support this idea. Not having this feature makes it really difficult to promote the auction and prevent people from bidding on auction items.
