We currently don't know when a donor/buyer made a typo in their email address and don't receive their confirmation email. I would like to have visibility on that in the dashboard to know when a confirmation email bounced. / Actuellement, nous ne savons pas si un donateur/acheteur a fait une erreur de frappe dans son adresse courriel et n'a pas reçu son e-mail de confirmation. J'aimerais avoir une visibilité dans le tableau de bord pour savoir quand un email de confirmation n'a pas été envoyé avec succès.

I see that there is success or failed status icon for the reminder email but can't see if my ticket holder got their initial receipt. It would be good to know if there was a bounce back right away rather than wait to get a call from a buyer and them being like "I must have spelled my email address wrong". And - it ends up I wasn't able to change their email address because I got an error saying that they were already in my contacts (which I don't think was true because I couldn't find them anywhere).

PLEASE add some sort of feature which will notify the non-profit of the email failure. This is important for a number of reasons, including supporting healthy relationships with donors. Thank you!

I just noticed that at least two of my ticket purchasers entered incorrect email addresses - one bounced back for sure; and we should have been notified.

Je suis d'accord, car je viens d'avoir une situation où la personne n'a pas reçu son courriel ainsi que son reçu, mais selon les journaux que nous n'avons pas accès oui. Donc, j'ai toujours un doute s'il a été bien envoyé et reçu.

Yes, it is critical for us to be 100% certain that a confirmation email was sent and delivered. There should be a way to verify that our automated thank you notes have actually been sent & then received by the donors. Automating this process via Zeffy should give us peace of mind that every donor is being properly thanked, but I don't feel confident without being able to see this anywhere.

Yes, I agree. Also, is there a way we can see if they 'open' and read the Thank you email and in what language it was sent (especially for manual donations). Thank you.

Hi Wendy: Thanks for your comment! I'm going to adjust this post to have stats on the email in general (including bounce and open). The language the email is sent is based on the donors language preference, which you can find on their contact page, which can be accessed by clicking on your donor's name in your dashboard. Once on the page, see the bottom left of the page, I've shared a screenshot below. This is the language the email will send in. You can also filter by language in the Contact section!
