We use Zeffy's monthly transaction report to import transactions into our bookkeeping system (Xero). But our donation revenue needs to be coded to a different account than event ticket sales - when the two are lumped together in a single line item (as in the top “current format” screenshot), this necessitates a manual adjustment to the report in order to create a usable import sheet.
A more useful version of this report might use the "Category" column to distinguish between Ticket and Donation revenue for the same transaction (on separate line items), as in the second screenshot.
Additionally, I've noticed that the "Eligible Amount" column displays an erroneous value for refunds - see the three "X Y" rows on the top "current format" screenshot. The middle row represents a partial refund of $40 for the bottom row's original $50 transaction ($40 tickets / $10 donation) - but the refund row still shows an "eligible amount" of $10. This is clearly referencing the original donation transaction, but nothing about the $40 ticket refund involves a $10 “eligible amount,” so including this value on the refund line item is misleading.
