Since members can not currently pay a variable amount toward their dues they have to put that amount in the “additional donation” field. I’d like to be able to instruct them to do so.

It would be nice to have a feature to "name your own price" or "make offer" for specific items for sale. Since we have items where we offer "Name your own price" and I don't want people to see the word "donation" in this case. We have suggested prices for a lot of items like a garage sale I don't want to have to enter a discount for each negotiated price.
Or just allowing for an optional "additional amount" field that is for goods and services and the title of that additional amount box can be changed and a description can be added.

We do it now for our Pay What You Can Theatre but it says FREE and we have to add extra explanation on how they can donate.

It would be very interesting on the donation form that the amount given can be linked with advantages (ex.:1-50$ no advantages, 51-100$ 5$ advantages so if I enter 60$ the system automatically calculate a 5$ advantage on the receipt).

Add us to this list too. We want our clients to be able to specify the amount they are paying for a particular service and we do not like using the "Donation" field workaround because it gives the idea that it is tax deductible when it is not. (Even just renaming that field would go a long way.)

I would like to see the auction form have an option to pay in person after the auction has closed or the on-line sales option allow you to enter a different price when it sells.
We do a silent auction at an event. People bid on the item on a paper tally that is on the item. When we close the auction and receive payment, as of now, I have to use the “other donations “ form. We use this form to receive random donations so it’s hard to separate out just a donation from a Silent Auction sale

Going to throw my hat into the ring and request this feature. At our organization, we have your typical fixed-price membership options, but we also have higher-tier "variable amount" membership options (e.g. give between $500–$750 and you're in the "Benefactor" tier, etc.). We were recommended Zeffy by a partner organization, but having this feature missing is what's preventing us from making the full switch.
