Erase a contact's information

Thank you all for your votes and comments! It is now possible to delete a contact directly from their contact page, in the Actions menu.

I think it will be a violation of The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and Europe's GDPR if you are unable to execute a request to erase a user's data from your database

This is critical function. How has this not been changed in over a year since the feedback was sent? (I am also dealing with this issue. Have accidentally emailed people who want to be removed. Have a tag that says “do not email” but there is no option to EXCLUDE people from an email based on tag (only to add based on tag). Please fix this!

If you cannot delete a contact when the donor/contact asks to be removed, it is tantamount to terrible customer service!!! It will stop us from doing another email to our contacts!!! This feature is available with every online platform that we've used in the past - it just might drive me back to Blackbaud! I hope you will see the light. CA

We need to be able to delete contacts. Also need the options for donations. many folks also donate just items and need a non monetary receipt for tax purposes. This would be huge for our organization. Thanks

This is crazy that we are unable to adjust people as things change over time. This needs to be an updated consideration that just makes total sense.

I need to edit my contact list as some donors need to be removed. This may be a deal breaker if we cannot manage our list properly, by being able to delete a contact.

I would love to be able to edit a contact too from the contact tab. Address, email as well.
