Sometimes phones don't work well enough to take tap to pay, and there are still cards out there with a chip that won't allow tap to pay. I'd like to see a physical card reader for those cases.

Yes, this would be an important feature. This would could also expand support to iPad with external reader or payments.

I work with an organization that needs to have card swipe/insertion capability. Until Zeffy either allows for compatibility with card swipe/insertion devices or creates and sells proprietary card swipe/insertion devices, we unfortunately won't be able to use Zeffy. And yes, I know about the tap to pay/QR code options. We need swiping and insertion capabilities.

Hi Zeffy! We are hosting an event with 300 guests at a large venue in late September. We are utilizing Zeffy Tap To Pay for some of the things going on at the event. The committee is worried that there is too little cell signale for Tap To Pay to work properly and would prefer that we used an external card reader.
I understand that this is not currently offered, but would be a great feature to add in the feature!
Also, a feature that would help nonprofits to raise more funds is to add a notification when someone outbids you in the silent auction.

Another request for a card reader or compatibility with keyboard-emulating readers. Some donors are not comfortable with the idea of tap-to-pay with a stranger (me, lol) and their personal phone.

I'm having trouble getting touch-to-pay to work on my iPhone consistently. I wish I could purchase a reliable, sturdy Zeffy-backed point of sale device (like the Square register kit -- or even just the Square terminal. Or it could be more of a DipJar-type device that pairs with a phone or iPad running your platform?

In addition to adding tap-to-pay for Android, I would like to be able to accept payments in person with a laptop and a third party credit card swiper plugged in via USB. This would allow Zeffy to be a POS system for events and allow us to only use one payment processing platform rather than multiple.

We would absolutely love to have the ability to use a tap to pay external reader as we have lots of high school volunteers and haven't figured out the best way to accept day of ticket sales or concession stand sales. Thank you for such an amazing platform. We have definitely seen a huge increase in our revenue because of it!!

I may have an alternative idea. Zeffy should integrate with another Payment processing company. [Like Moneris, Elevon, etc. ] so all donations made on their terminals should automatically be synced and appear in my payment history on the zeffy dashboard. This will allow me to send receipts for the donors on my terminal, too!
