Zeffy Platform Donation Tracking

Would love to be able to see out of our population who is actually donating to the Zeffy platform and how much. We have determined if it is not a lot, we would like to make a yearly contribution to Zeffy on behalf of our non-profit as a thank you. We also have complaints of “fees” and want to see if people are understanding that they can change that amount if they choose to. Just a separate column in the exported spreadsheet would be nice, not as a part of the total sale.

I am requesting ability to view when someone makes a payment to Zeffy. Donors are complaining that there are too many fees, as I have promoted we use a platform that takes no fees, and it makes us seem less trustworthy as an organization. All other platforms are transparent and I can view everything the donor was charged and it's allocation. I find it egregious that your platform doesn’t. This has become very stressful as now many donors want to donate via cash or zelle since your system is not user friendly as much as I tell donors they have to manually select other many are older or not tech savvy and it becomes confusing that your system chooses a donation amount for them. It is not a voluntary donation if Zeffy has it preselected. I am aware that your company does not plan on removing the preset value, in that case I would like to see when a donor was charged the fee so I can know in advance when they complain about "fees".

Customers see that they paid more money than what our system shows due to the platform fee. Because of this, we can't match up their payments on their cards with our payments in the system. It also hides how much extra customers are paying for platform fees. Having this transparency on the dashboard will help with providing customer service.

Zeffy typically asks for a 10%+ donation to Zeffy to cover the Zeffy operational costs. This, In my opinion, is excessive. They are not disclosing what the true charges are for any giving transaction to the donor so the donor understands how much Zeffy is underwriting the transaction but instead have opted to ask for a 10-17% donation to Zeffy which is very off putting at least to our donors. This, in my mind, needs to change. I like many of the aspects of the platform but this may become a deal ender.

I just checked up when a person goes to make a Donation to your fundraiser under confirm your donation there is a spot that says support the 100% platform you can click under learn more click the different dollar amouts or click other and put 0 and you are not charged fee. The other amouts are optional to help keep the site free from fees. It gives you the option to to help out with fees or not

I just signed up and i made the first Donation to our fundraiser and i do not see fees added. There was a section i put zero on so thats probably why i have no fees when i created our first fundraiser on here.

This is a part of what you've suggested -- I would love to have the option to insert some additional wording above the "fees" section to explain the option to change it since the default is set quite high (in my opinion).
